FAQ

Q: Can a Tianshuo digital accordion completely replace an acoustic one?

A: No. Digital and acoustic accordions can be considered as two totally different types of instruments. They are very similar in terms of playing methods, but they are completely different in terms of the variety of sounds and the principles of sound production. It can be said that the digital accordion is another kind of instrument with the style of an accordion, and players of acoustic ones can quickly get used to this instrument. Digital accordions offer many features that acoustic ones do not have.

Q: Is a digital accordion lighter than an acoustic one?

A: Yes. A digital one is about 20% lighter than its acoustic counterpart.

Q: Will the bellows of a digital accordion affect the volume?

A: Yes. There are air pressure sensors in the bellows. Several modes of how the volume should be affected by air pressure can be chosen from in the menu. Also, you can skip the bellows by enabling the ‘constant output volume’ function in the menu.

Q: Do the bellows of a Tianshuo digital accordion feel the same as those of an acoustic one?

A: No. For acoustic accordions, whether and how many keys are pressed affects the air flow, so the bellows feel ‘easier’ to push or pull when more keys are down. But for Tianshuo digital accordions, key press doesn’t lead to change in air flow.

Q: Is it possible to practice with earphones to avoid noise?

A: Yes.

Q: Can I play a BGM on this accordion?

A: Yes. You can play BGM via bluetooth or a USB drive (not available for 120-bass piano type).

Q: Does it have a MIDI out port?

A: No.

Q: Is it possible to play without any cables?

A: Yes. Tianshuo digital accordions are equipped with built-in chargeable Lithium batteries and speakers.

Q: What is the warranty policy?

A: The manufacturer promises a 5-year warranty. Lifetime maintenance service is also offered.
